Is my home suitable?

Most homes can accommodate the space required for a massage table - a massage table is approximately 1 metre x 2 metres and requires enough working space around it for the therapist to move without compromising their posture. A living room, kitchen or larger bedroom usually has enough space.

How should I prepare my space?

Our therapists require a minimum space of 160cm x 280cm/6.5ft x 9ft to set up their table and work around it safely.

In colder months, we highly recommend pre-heating your room to keep you nice and cosy. You may also like to keep an extra blanket handy for an extra layer of warmth.

To make the most of your treatment time, please be ready for your therapist's arrival. Plan ahead by moving furniture, showering, and completing any necessary tasks, so you don't miss a minute of your blissful massage. Our therapists aim to provide you with the full duration of your treatment, so being ready ensures you get the most out of your relaxing experience.

Although therapists bring everything required, feel free to add any extra touches, like: incense, essential oil diffuser, candles. Likewise, feel free to play your own music should there be something you particularly like to relax to.

Parking and access

We may not be able to provide services to buildings that have multiple flights of stairs, steep steps, small rooms or lack of parking.

Parking is essential. Please ensure you have somewhere close by if you don't have a private drive or parking space. This is required for safe loading and unloading of equipment. If parking charges apply these must be reimbursed directly to the therapist at on their arrival.

What can massage help with?

Although we cannot guarantee results, massage has been known to help with:

stress relief, muscular aches and pains, joint stiffness/lack of mobility/loss of flexibility, sleep deprivation, headaches and migraines,

sciatica, pregnancy-related aches and pains, postnatal depression, runner's knee, ITB syndrome and plantar fasciitis, recovery from injury, fibromyalgia, M.E chronic pain and much more...

Can you visit my hotel room

Yes we can. Although some hotel rooms are quite small and would not fit our massage tables in. We advise getting in touch with a photo of the room if you're not sure or putting us in touch with the hotel concierge to discuss options. We also advise checking with the hotel that they are happy for us to provide services there. Please be aware that some locations are not suitable if there's not nearby parking or if there are steep narrow stairs (as with some old Cornwall character properties)

How should I prepare personally?

To ensure the utmost comfort and tranquillity during your massage, we recommend:

  • selecting a quiet spot where you won't be disturbed, allowing you to fully switch-off.

  • showering, finishing any tasks, emails, childcare etc. before your therapists arrival, so that you don't miss out on any of your precious treatment time.

  • turn your phone on silent, if possible

  • slip on a bathrobe over your pants, so that it's easy for your to wrap up warm after your massage treatment.

Your therapist will bring everything needed* including the massage table, towels, music and oils, but if you'd like to play your own music or use any of your own supplies, we'd be happy to accommodate your needs.

Therefore, if you're within this weight category, please get in touch to check whether the therapist you're booking with has a table load weight safe for your use. Under-16s will need to have parental consent and a parent or guardian present during their treatment. If you're seeking treatment for a particular ailment or injury then we’d be happy to answer your questions via the Contact tab at the top of the page or give us a call.

Can I remove my underwear for the massage?

No. As part of our therapist safety measures and hygiene protocols you will need to keep your underwear on accept for bras which we recommend are removed for massage.

Tamara, Client

I had such a wonderful massage with Kate B that I couldn’t resist booking a second during my stay in Cornwall. It truly made my holiday, the perfect dose of relaxation for a busy therapist and mum like me.

Kate’s professional yet warm nature instantly put me at ease, and both massages were absolutely brilliant. I only wish I lived closer, as it’s so rare to find a therapist who delivers such high-quality treatments. Having her visit our campsite made it even more special, the perfect little nudge for some well-deserved mummy time!
